Gen, I think what you vented was apropo and took it as "out loud" sounding off. What I thought of, I really considered. Never told a soul but my wife. I still don't laugh about it. Yours had a dose of humor attached, especially "don't buy this deathtrap"!
BTW, my truck is still in the shop awaiting weatherstripping for the topper. $5.00 worth of stripping to seal it and State farm is paying 50.00 per day for the rental! I want my big Canadian made GMC. They'vr got me shoved in the "All New Chevy Craparado" and miserable Isuzu is all it is! I hate it! They ought to call it the Rhode Island it is so small! The 5 cylinder Mercedes engine gets WORSE mileage than my 4.8L V8 in the Sierra. It screams like a dynig mule to accelerate and makes a noise from the brakes when rolling. It only has 7700 miles and it ain't a GM. it's an Isuzu. Copy the cars from the Japs, leave Trucks to the Americans. The Tundra is a piece of s**t when it comes to a long haul. They made that piece of crap Honda Ridgeline (Avalanche Copy) Truck of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My father in law had a crummy Nissan PU and I had a new Mitsubishi Mighty Max years ago, ALL JUNK! How utterly DARE anyone compare the "Ridgeline" to an F350. I've seen an F350 that towed a Bulldozer on a fifth wheel 19,000 miles with no damage, THAT IS A TRUCK! I HASVE SEEN F350, F250, Chevy/GMC Duramax all with fifth wheels, NEVER did I ever see ANY JAP JUNK with a fifth wheel, EVER. The proof is in the pudding! The County had four Nissan Service Trucks for Bus. They started falling apart very early and NONE could push a 60 foot Articulated Bus over the Haulover Bridge, HORRIBLE GARBAGE and freaking dangerous when the road is wet. To get a flooded Bus out the Rail Station afew years ago we tried with three of those Jap Trash trucks to pull the Bus water and all. Finally we went back and got the old 1990 GMC which had over 700,000 miles and pulled it out alone. When you have to do a real job, Jap trucks are TRASH.
I've never worked at a Jap dealer but have friends that have, the Nissan fellow won't touch one, he drives a Chevy. And Honda today is not the Car Company that old Soshiro Honda built years ago. You want to take a chance, I wouldn't put my kid in a Honda, they fold like nothing in an accident, BUICKS is what all three will get from me. To hell with GM haters.
