You clear up alot by listening to the message. Could have even been a wrong #.

I have TONS of wrong numbers who leave messages. We use the generic message, it doesn't state our name or number, so they won't know if they get wrong number or not.

Oh geesh bkfiler....you should relax and saved yourself the $150...!!!!!

When we used to have our name and number on our answer machine , companies STILL left messages. Asking if someone was there. Go figure. You know how sneaky the collectors can be. They didn't care what your messages says, they will still leave a message.

PLUS....I had creditors who kept calling...all the way up to 2 weeks before my discharge.

Heck hubby ever had a wage garnishment try to be put through. Our lawyer had to fax over the payroll to stop it. This was in November and we had filed back in Sept...so go figure!!

well hold on now. someone told me to ask my attorney to handle this. i think staci told me that advice. thats why i spend $150 a dont have to spend and i need for rent and food to take care of this matter. so its not my fault.

as for the creditors, see thats exaclty what im talking about! they were calling you too. im going to go get money orders ready in 4 payments to help pay back the $8K. im sure that is what its about.

Yeah they called me and I told them to F&^#$ off!! I told them they were violating the automatic stay, and if they called again my laywer was going to take action.... I didn't run to my lawyer!!!! Have some B*#@@s!!!

Also, if you pay a creditor that much money then you are screwed, and your whole case can be dismissed. You can't play favorites! Plus if you had the money to pay them....wwwwhhhyyyyy did you file???

Somethings fishy with your posts...this doesn't sound like you..being scared. You wouldn't let some creditor get you panties in a bunch!!

well first of all how do you even know if i wear panties?

second of all i live in a state where you can have thousands of dollars exempted if you dont own a home. so yes my cash is exempt.

my problem is, regardless of stay violation, that they are coming after me and objecting. that means problems. right?

im almost discharged in 2+ weeks and her it goes, down the drain. and my attorney which staci told me to go see took my $150. all he did was tell me make a new appt and bring the phone with me next time. and he gave me advice on someone elses case - see thread on 401K - that wont even listen to the advice now lol.

OK FIRST....back up....At least listen to the damn message!!!! Maybe it's someone trying to sell you some AVON for your body!!...LOL

Who said anything about objections....you are Mr. Pacer, you would see it on Pacer FIRST...before they called you.....and second. Isn't it 30 days for a creditor to object, and the whole 60 days for the trustee?? You are past the 30 days??

BOTTOM LINE CHECK THE MESSAGE FIRST BEFORE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS!!!!

You could have taken me out to dinner for the $150...LOL

Actually, referring back to page 1 of the thread. Kam told you to find out if it WAS a creditor, and if so to call your attorney and cry. I just amended her instructions, to yell when you called the attorney. This was assuming you looked into it and it WAS a creditor.

ah there they are. i love looking at them.

ok staci, i see you are not taking responsability for this problem. i see how you are now. its not cames fault. and the attorny didnt even help me eithere.

i dont know what to do now. i can afford to pay half if now and the rest on payments, but no interest. i wont allow it.

do you think this is fair?

BKF is suffering from pre-discharge syndrome. He knows he's about to get kicked out of his own club and into ours. He's skeered of the thought that we are alllll *waiting* for him to get bounced faster than a hot check. He's suffering from separation anxiety. The 60-day club has been a ... blankie, a binkie of sorts for him. He's about to get pushed off the precipice and back into the *real* world. He's choking, folks, I tell you.

Push the button. Listen to the message. Maybe you won a gift certificate or the local body shop is running a January special. Maybe it *is* a creditor and you can get him for violating the stay? Think of all the facials and foot massages you can get for $1000 stay violation.

What's your Pacer bill anyway? Have you checked recently?
