    Medical Insurance - New Laws

    A thought,

Saw on the news last night that many of the insurance companies are now starting to let you keep insurance on your children up to the age of 30 as long as they live with you, not married, have no children....

Medical expenses have gotten so high, and insurance premium so high that Congress is considering passing a new law allowing parents to keep insurance on children who still live at home up to the age of 30..... This would be included under family coverage plan....

Most insurance companies do not object to it because many young people do not have insurance anyways...

Its in the makings!!!!!!! So if you have a child (adult) who doesn't want to leave home, yes you can keep insurance on him (medical only) in the future.

Not a bad idea, since many companies no longer offer insurance benefits to a lot of their employees. Especially parttime employees like students.

GOSH, lots of kids will now NOT LEAVE HOME......lol

Will be looking for more info on this to keep you posted.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Geee now my boys won't ever leave...LOL

I know you used to be able to stay covered on your parent's insurance if you were in college 3/4 time. I know my brother stayed on my parent's until he was 26 yrs. He was doing is associate degree 3/4 time, and working part -time. It paid off now he is making over $70,000 a year as a x-ray manager.
