My husband's fire dept bought a new computer and he scored the old one for us. It is a lot faster and better but I am having a problem with Microsoft Money, and wonder if anyone here can advise me as to how to fix my problem.
I have been using Money for at least 4 years, and have moved up to needing 2 floppies to back up my files. After installing money on the new 'puter, I attempted to import my backup files. The program reads the first floppy and asks me to insert the second one. After a minute or so, it asks me to insert the 2nd one, again. And again, as long as I continue to click on ok. When I try to run the floppy, it will tell me that the floppy hasn't been formatted, do I want to format it. It only does this with the 2nd floppy. I even went back and made another copy of my backup file. Again the first floppy works, the second does not.
Any advice? I hate to lose all this info. Oh, and I tried to copy onto a CD, and when I attempted to read it, it comes up with unknown pathname or file format or something- but I dadgum sure don't know how to use the cd burner properly.
