Isnt it cool to be on the receiving end of the dough for a change?
Yesterday, completely unexpectedly, we got a check for $2500 from the old mortgage company, because evidently they were overpaid in the refinance!
And because we have learned from our mistakes,we put it right into savings!!!
That felt good, because so much of our past problems were because things happened that were unexpected and we were unprepared.
Here's to planning ahead for a change!!!!!

Well...I did have 3 numbers on Sunday morning...and the other two in the line below...
I'm totally broke...think my bf is back on the stuff, and mom wants him out of my home...I've given every opportunity for him to get on his feet (i.e. it's been 9 months...like he got depressed after I filed bk worse than me?)
So, I am ready to win!!!! Even $5 puts gas in car...I've always been lucky...here's my logic on it:
If I don't play, I can't win and if I do play, I don't win but if I don't play, I don't even have a chance to win....or something like that...
Anyhow...if I get lucky, I will take my ticket & head straight to Tallahasee & then out of the country for a while...no suitcase...maybe a toothbrush & toothpaste in my purse....I'll shop when I get to wherever I going...no trails....lol!
And, I'm marking my tickets with my name asap...Filed Oct 2005discharged February 2007,Shapeless in the fire's glow, tell me if you think you know,

I think we are going to do a small Mortgage on the TN property. The Hurricane did alot of damage and we have to repair NOW because the Association needs to paint, It would have to be done either way, just that we are spent monetarily right now. We've been real good about cash and my credit seems to be ontrack in spite of... so, this is a one timer. NO CONSUMER LOAN, THOUGH EASTERN WILL GIVE ME ONE.
This last year we did one Auto cash, three computers cash, College cash, cash, cash, cash, all new appliances cash, property was bought with a refi thanks to the boom. I kept the equity SAFE though so we are only at about 60% LTV right now. I expect that the slow down will leave us at 65-70, so far prices are fairly stable though sale time is longer. The sale of this home would easily pay for a good house in Crossville. I think we are leaning toward buying a farmhouse since I will likely do some light Diesel work (the old days) when i retire. I have rebuilt ONE HELL of alot of DDECS and L10's and even afew series 60 and 50 engines and of cours a number of Allison and Voith transmissions. That doesn't leave you overnite. We'll decide later if it's Country Club or Cletusville. We are undecided, there are alot of restrictions in our Tennesse neighborhood of choice and I have a like/dislike of Associations, it's all i've known here.
So, the news in SoFla is good and not so good...Last edited by robivi3; 04-19-2006, 10:52 AM."You once asked me for advice. You want some now? Never pass up a good thing." Lieutenant Jean Rasczak, Starship Troopers

We had son buy the Lottery Ticket Saturday hoping he'd be luckier and maybe win. But alas, the poor boy is equally cursed as we are. He got one number in each of 2 of the 3 sets of numbers he played.
Thanks for the reminder about this being Wednesday, tho!!
I'll scape in the change jar and see if we can get a buck or 2 for numbers for today's drawing.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
