    Hey Gang,

I haen't posted for a quite a while and many of you may not know me. I'm not up to date on the current laws, so feel that I have little to add to the group.
Just wanted to give you an update on myself. I filed 10/13/05. Case was discharged, but not closed. I have some outside income and the Trustee decided to take 1/3 pf 4 quarterly payments (about $4000 total), I have made 2 of them and when the last one is paid in Oct., hopefully, he'll close my case.
Some of you remember I am on medical disability income, which was about a 50% reduction in income which was why I filed for Bk. The first year ended the end of April. I wasn't sure if I would qualify again or not, but I did, but according to their rules, it went down from $2000 a month to $1333, however, God is Good. This Sunday (on my B-Day) I start part time at a small rural church which will pay me about $1000 a month plus mileage for 2 1/2 days a week, so I'll actually be doing a little better than before. The only problem is that I can only do it for 3 months or after that, I will lose my disability. Somehow or another however, God will provide.
I can't say that Bk has been easy. I have wanted a credit card every month. Realized how much I bought that wasn't a necessity. I've cashed in all of my change and still juggle with the bills.
It isn't easy and I dread living the rest of my life like this, however, hopefully I will be alive. I was told with my last job that I either quit or it would kill me.
Anyway, it's good to be alive. I may not have one of the greatest "success" stories out there, but had it not been for Bk and this group helping me get through it, the financial stress would prob. have killed me also, so I consider it a success.
God Bless. My love and thanks to all of you and to all of you who keep this going. Art

Howdy AAAArt, it is good to hear that you have found employment. It is also good to feel useful. You are not measured by equity or "net worth". There is alot to be said for a good life.

I was really glad to see you back, Art. Also glad things are going so well for you at the moment too!! You are sooooo right. When one door closes another opens. When you can't help out at the Church any longer, something else will come along for you.

And don't think you don't have anything to offer here. Quite the contrary!! We have people asking tax related questions all the time. You are our resident expert!! And while some of the laws may have changed a lot of going thru the process is exactly the same.

So drop by anytime you've got a minute, prop your feet up, and chat with us.

It's so good to see you again!!

          Yes, Art,

Good to see you and glad to hear about your church job. God will take care of you and I know it's hard to hang in there. I have to depend on God to hang on to me.

I missed you, too. Keep us posted on how you're doing.
