if i go there on that page it tells me i have no access by the admin. i don't even see any forum link there.

Please post in this forum: http://www.bkforum.com/forumdisplay....sers-POST-HERE. HRx checks that forum regularly and will try to resolve the issue.

When I open the site to the home page, I get a message that says " I do not have permission to access this page." I have tried both links provided many times. I must be on someone's crap list.

I would be nice to have total access to this site.

I have gotten that message in the past, but not recently. If you were on a "crap list", you wouldn't be able to post at all.

There is nothing on the home page that you can't access from other pages. Did you try clicking "forum" at the top left of the page you are viewing now?

well, you aren't alone kmattin, i get the same message and then i just go to the top and go to the forum or "new posts". it's not as user friendly as it use to be, that's for certain.

i think what to me is the slap in the face, is i'm just a bit sorry about all the work i have done in the blog area only to have the admin not even answer a question. i have asked many over the years and they simply go unaddressed...a perfect example is the email issue. i know as lady pointed out laz was made aware of it, but never comments. hrx, comes on here and there for a comment once in a very great while.

i also agree kmattin, the site needs to "update" to assist after bk and other subject matters after it's over. bk filings are down, but the aftermath is still felt daily by many. changing the topics to reflect may draw more traffic and save the site. we use to get a ton of hits daily, i rarely come now myself.

News posts are in a subforum under "news and general" which you can find in the forums list which is accessible by clicking "Forum" near the top left of any page or clicking this link: http://www.bkforum.com/forum.php

When you have questions about how to locate certain things on the site, you're more likely to get a response by posting your question in the forums instead of sending a PM to a moderator. You could post your question under "general talk" in the "news and general forum", or under "BKforumfeedback" in the "other" forum at the bottom of the forums list.

I have received, from time to time, wonderful information here. I don't visit as much as I did, because I am well over two years into my BK 13 and doing okay. There are some I like to follow, but there are many topics that I just don't relate to anymore.

Me either. I would never post on fb about my bankruptcy. And I am pretty open about it with my friends and family. I guess a lot of people post things on fb that I wouldn't post.

I agree with toobe43 that, in additon to the improving economy, the email notification issue probably is part of the reason for the slow down in traffic.

so lady, then why don't they fix it. another site that uses the exact forum software is up and running with emails. i mean i haven't seen hhm in forever! when are great mods ( and thank you all for all you have done for this site) stop coming, it's sad. i have really met friends for life on this site. actually met a few of you. (u know who you are and did we have fun or what?) ...truly some of the best of the best.

another member i will not mention but when my husband was diagnosed another member's wife was a week later. our bond never broke although unfortunately, their outcome wasn't as favorable as ours. everyday we went through this life change together. two people meeting on a bkforum...holding on to each other to help save our loved ones. without each other, personally i don't think i would have made it myself. so this forum isn't ONLY to answer questions about bk, but has been key in establishing life long relationships. at least for me.

Me either. I would never post on fb about my bankruptcy. And I am pretty open about it with my friends and family. I guess a lot of people post things on fb that I wouldn't post.
