    Health Insurance and Independent Contractor

I could make so much more money if I was being a contractor (W2 and/or 1099) going on jobs for 3-6 months at a time (generally 100% travel), but then I wouldn't have health insurance. I've had a bear of a time looking for reasonable health insurance due to pre-existing conditions.

Just wondering if anyone was in the same boat and had any health insurance plans to suggest.

Anon-have you thought about pricing and individual policy online?

Many places now offer individual policies starting as low as $40.00 a month! You might want to look into it.

www.insurance.com would be a good place to start!
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

      Thanks for that site.

The only ones with deductibles less than $1500 are generally "coinsurance". Trying to figure out what that means at the moment.

I pay about $200 for Rx meds right now--and these plans are even higher--yikes!
