    I hate sitting and waiting.....

I have a meeting in 25 min. The place is like 2 min from my house and that's if I have to stop for the red light.

    I'm ready to.

I hate this sitting around to leave.

What are you sitting around for? Where are you doing?

Here's some time-fillers that work for me (I hate waiting too!)
      1. Get online and answer a few newbie questions here or post a money-saving link to get a free tote (hmmm...I think someone already did that )
      2. Load the dishwasher, fold laundry, dust - something that doesn't take long but gives a satisfying "great, that's done!".
      3. Watch a TV program or DVD if the time it ends is the time you want to leave.
      4. Play with the kids or read a story with them.
      5. Exercise (funny...it's always easy for me to stop when it's time to go!)

By now you're back from your appointment, JM - what did you end up doing to get through your 25 min wait? (Inquiring minds want to know! )
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

It was 90 out plus we go out for drinks afterwards.

I got off here and played w/my kids for a bit. That's risky though, they are always getting stuff on me.

Neat tip I picked up when the kids were little.

Seems I was always stuffing food in a face or changing a smelly diaper just as I had to dash out the door for an "adult" outing.

Get dressed up for your outing. Then throw a big loose smock top on over your dress clothes. One of those house "dress" things that older women wear at home. Goes down to your knees type of things.

Then you're covered for the little "Uht Oh's" that might, and usually do happen, right before you leave. Just pull off the smock on your way out the door and you look as Fabulous as you did when you got dressed up. And you leave the "Uht Oh's" behind at the door.

Sudko is what we do in the bathroom instead of read magazines, I got a book for like $1 off amazon and I needed an order filler. Lots of fun, it's addictive.

How many times are you going to repeat this?
