Weekend Plans

Whats everyones' weekend plans? I from NYC and spent most of my afternoon, evening and early morning in PA *hey to Nascarfan* someone gave me a last minute ticket to go check out Mariah Carey and im kinda familiar with her songs but she isnt someone I would actually spend my money on to see but she had a couple nice songs I guess her older albums were more R&B Contemporary/Adult Contemporary. But im back home in NYC wishing I can fall asleep but I can't.

Glad you got an "escape from New York" for one day. My older daughter used to "channel" Mariah Carey for her ex boyfriend's band on occasion. She sounded just like her, but not enough gigs to pay the rent, so she is back at home doing a biology degree, but we still get serenaded here on occasion while she is doing housework.

Yardwork for me and a visit to a local rock'n'roll diner with my sweetie to show off his classic 1966 Mustang muscle car <vroom, vroom!> I get to wear my hippie threads!

My friend is having a sleep over tonight as a "girls night out". Complete with jammies contest!

Hubby is working OT(but he's salary so no extra pay) today.

My DH is out today with two of his friends at an all-day outdoor bluegrass concert. Tomorrow we're headed out to our local botanical garden - a friend gave us free passes. It's butterfly release weekend and I'm taking my camera. (I'm an avid digital photographer - it's my passion!)

Going for my hair and makeup trial for my wedding.

Three weeks from today, I'll be an old married gal!

That sounds soooo FUN...

I am sitting here now thinking if I should try something like that but im a home and movie type of person and many of my friends is a drink party and pass out type so hmmm I don't think I can do something like that but it sound super fun.

it's a gorgeous day here in NE PA, I have all the windows open, A/C off! I just spent the morning sipping coffee with DH and chatting! Very relaxing and nice quality time.

Don't know what I'll do the rest of the day, probably work on of my client's website that I'm a little behind on.

***Hmmmm so ur into web design*** Im kinda computer saavy but dont have the time to do my own creations but I might need to contract u for my event planning website. I have lots of ideas but when I talk to people about it they don't GRASP the concept im aiming at.

We're just doing a bring your owns drinks, snacks to share, click flicks. She's bougth stuff to do nails. Just like in jr high school!

Not everyone is staying the night.

Poor girl, she planned the party, sent out invites, the next week she found out she's pregnant. No real partying it up for her!
