I went to a wedding a couple of years ago where there was a table set up for all the kids to sit at. The table was filled with coloring books, crayons, puzzles, etc...to keep them busy and occupied. I thought it was a fabulous idea and it did work for the most part.

            Tin,

            1) Your wedding, your rules. Do your kids have a favorite babysitter? Might be worth it to bring her to the wedding and pay her extra to supervise the children. The idea of a children's play table sounds awesome.

            2) Set up a time with this woman and check in with her (you call her) at 10 am and 2 pm each day during your breaks. Maybe that will keep communications open in these important days before your wedding.

            3) I'm rather have someone UN-RSVP then just not show up on your wedding day. It's not nice, but consider the alternative.

            4) Has your maid-of-honor or another close friend sat down and called everyone that has not RSVPd for you? Remember, that's what friends are for on these special occasions and I know they wouldn't mind a bit doing that for you.

            5) Ear plugs! If you're going to try something like Tylenol PM, try it now first and not just the few days before your wedding so that you know how you react to it.

Now take a deep breath and focus on the positive--your starting a new life with the man you love!
