mods doing great job with site trolls

Someone posted something provocative and inflammatory in a thread that was productively giving me information I requested. I later went to post to site admins what they could do about this sort of thing only to discover that a mod had already gone in and edited out the crap. Thank you! I searched around and discovered the troll is well known on this site and has the mods' attention. Great job, and unusual to see on the web.

Yep, serious troll action every weekend.

But that was before the site added new moderators who can be on line "lurking" even on weekends to jump in and delete our advertising and porn posts, put out inflammatory threads, and recognize multiple personalities when permanently banned trolls develop multiple personalities. I have developed a personal rule to help with unwanted personalities on this board as well as unknown strangers (have a peephole) at my door: IGNORE!!! Helps keep blood pressure down, just like letting my phone calls go to voice mail if I don't recognize the number.

I don't think religon bashing is a good idea. Remember Mormons and JW's are people too.

There are people in the world that belive Christianity is a false religon as well.

If you claim mormons are a false religion have you ever dove into it or are you going by hear-say?

All I will say is, I was raised Mormon, and two years ago I had my name removed from Temple records. I could go on an on but for the sake of the thread I won't!

My landlord was raised mormon as well as his brother who is also my roommate. I know a bit about the subject.

I think the mods are doing a fantastic job and I appreciate their efforts! I am a moderator for another forum which handles very sensitive mental health issues and I know how difficult keeping people "in line" can be.

My $.02 on the religious issue is that while I consider myself a deeply spiritual and religious person I do not believe in cramming my views down others' throats. If my behavior does not reflect my beliefs, then what good is what I say? Like they say in AA, "If you're gonna talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk!"
