  • NDC.org is a great tool. My petition was filed on Jun 22, 2018. I know that notices were received Jul 2 - 5. Two creditors have already responded. One was $5 higher than the scheduled amount and one was $30 less than the scheduled amount. The first one through me for a loop because the name of...

  • Just in case I needed verification that the notices went out to the creditors, my ex-wife sent me a snapshot from her phone of the paperwork. We've been divorced since 2007. We share custody of my daughter but I have not spoken to her personally since March. Nor did I bother to answer when she text...

  • My attorney tells me that the 100% plan makes a lot of things possible that wouldn't be otherwise, like keeping two cars, an RV, and yes, possibly the timeshare. When I told him I wasn't averse to giving them up, he told me that I'd be paying for them anyway, might as well keep them.

  • DVC is odd. My maintenance fees for 2018 are annual, about a $1000. They will be in the plan. I can opt to go monthly where it is taken from my account. I am interested to see how the DVC Timeshare shakes out. My being in a 100% plan could be different.

  • My TransUnion Vantage 3.0 Score is 424.
My Equifax Vantage 3.0 Score is 432.

    I filed 6/22.

  • This sounds as though you have more assets than the exemption allows or more assets in a category than the exemption allows. In this case, it sounds like your real estate has too much equity. I would be on the phone to the attorney post haste.

  • I'm at the beginning of my road. The case was just filed on 6/22. I make my first payment tomorrow. My payment is $892 every two weeks (that comes to $1932 a month) but apparently that will change once all the claims are made. As of now there are still no claims. If your trustee uses the National...

  • When you kept yours were you able to use it, while paying it off in the plan?...

  • The timeshares are DVC (Disney Vacation Club) dies are annual. And apparently they are the exception on value. They attorney believes they will do a surrender in lieu of foreclosure. I’m hoping that he’s right.

  • Giving up credit cards is not a problem. When you stop making the payments they take care of that for you.

High Income - 100% Plan - Starting the road.

I've met with the attorney, filled out all the paperwork, and paid the filing fees. The road is just beginning. My payment is an outrages amount, just under $900 every two weeks. My filing has everything in it that a person should not have. There's an RV, timeshares, two cars, credit card debt,...

If you don't mind my asking, what is pushing you to file right now? Could you wait until March 2019? When a debtor calls, just explain that this call is terminating on a cellular telephone. That you incur a fee for each call received. They do not have permission to call your number. Then tell them...

My bankruptcy attorney laughed when I played the voicemail left by the repo company. He let me know that I am not going to be facing any charges nor will they bother to sue me. After all, I'm insolvent. That tracker is gone. The skeleton filing is happened today and his staff have already contacted...

I agree, I haven't really been too worried about the criminal aspect of sending their tracking device off on a long distance journey but more the civil side of it. Magistrate Court is a crap shoot. I have envisioned a dozen ways it could go badly. Something like the judge asking me directly if I...

His plan would have worked, IF he had closed that gate. My gate is something that I'm pretty much OCD about, it is never left open. Not locked, just closed. The gate being open is what caused me to check the cameras. KBB and the amount owed are pretty close. The plan is to keep the vehicle. I am...

It got more interesting this morning. When I got my office, one of the first calls I took this morning was from the owner of the recovery company. Apparently, he used the information from the finance company to locate me. I told him that I did not have anything to say to him and requested that he...
