  • Hi. It’s been around 6 months since actually filing and a bit over 30 days since discharge. I’ll give them a shot! How bad would it look to future lenders to be applying now and being denied? What’s the time limit for future lenders to weigh all the applications I’ve put in now to have it effect...

    I’m looking for a couple good secured credit cards. I burned Cap1, so unfortunately I’m not confident they will approve me. Any good suggestions? Also, is 30 days post discharge too soon?     Yea, my attorney said just about the same. He said that CU’s aren’t in the business of selling cars, BUT, they do work for their members and will make financial decisions for what’s in their best interests, and will repo a car regardless of how much money is owed on it. However, not all CU’s...

    It’s the unknown that’s killing me at this point. But, if I just leave things alone, I may just continue driving my car indefinitely until, well, until I either pay it off or jump to another car. After all, NONE of my current payments are helping my credit because I technically don’t owe anything...

  • I had my discharge about a month ago and today I checked CreditKarma, to my surprise, Equifax and Transunion are showing a score of around 650. When I filed my ch. 7, my score hovered around 750ish. I’m actually surprised my score is so high right now....
