    Hi!

Wow what a strange story! I've had lots of cats and most of them were very shy when they got home. For a stray to show up at your door, not to mention looking like the twin of your "Angel" and going right to "her spot" is just to weird! It's almost as if Angel knew a "good thing" and wanted to "relive" her next life in your house again! Hee, hee

    Hi Liz:

What is even weirder, is that when I invited Angelina into the house, she fixed me with this 'knowing' look. She was a STRAY--she should have fled. Instead she accepted my invite, and came into the house! Then, once she had eaten, she went into the bedroom and laid down on the exact spot that Angel had collapsed and died on. My Gawd.

Oh my gosh, they look so similar it's errie! Angel looks like Angelina as a kitten...they could pass as the same cat! It's funny because Angel has this wide-eye look while Angelina has this, "take the darn picture and move on!" kinda look Maybe Angelina has hip problems from all that "flying" in her previous life....something to think about...anyway, too cute!!! Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Liz417:

I had to wait until today to reply. I am going to try to upload a picture of the first cat, her name was Angel. And I found I didn't have it at home--it was on my work computer. That will be fixed shortly.

But if you look closely, you will see by their faces that it is almost like looking at a 'mirror image', and in many ways they are a mirror image of each other. Angel was very active and climbed and jumped a lot. We use to say she flew through the trees. Angelina is not that active--the vet said she has hip displaysia, so she favors that and doesn't like being picked up and Angel didn't care how you picked her up or carried her. Angel was very talkative and Angelina is quieter--but she gets her point across. Both though were/are very loving. And now and again I'll call Angelina by a 'pet name' I called her predecessor and get that 'look' that you describe. As I said before, Angel 'sent' Angelina to us.

Take care to you too! Now let me see if I can upload this picture.

    ~Mary

PS: Hmmm, I don't find an option for uploading pictures here, so I'll have to try something else. I found it. There is a picture now in 'My Album'.

    Hi there,

I had to send you a personal message! What a beautiful story...yes, I believe that she was "sent" to you too! What are the chances of two similar-looking cat? I was going to ask you about your cat picture, because you don't see that color (black calico, right?) very often. Does you 'new' cat have any of the same "traits" that your other one had? I once had a siamese, she was beautiful and elegant and VERY smart, when she passed I have 'collected' cats along the way, and a few times I noticed that 'similar trait' and/or 'look' in one of my other cat's behaviour...you know what I mean?

    Take care!
    ~Liz

I ran across this post and thought of you two and your troubles with your attorney - maybe you could look into having the BK court order your attorney to disgorge/repay some or all of the fees you paid, based on your horrible experience? Look a couple paragraphs down in the link below:

    http://www.bkforum.com/showpost.php?...7&postcount=14

"And as for debtors who have attorneys who prepare poor and error-filled forms and don't return client calls...I recommend writing a letter to the judge detailing the problems you are having. The Bankruptcy Court has complete power over attorney fees, and I've seen judges order a lawyer who did a poor job to disgorge, or return to the client, all or a portion of the fees paid."
