I haven't been on here in FOREVER but wanted to just leave a quick note. I was sued in March 2010 and received a judgment against me for just under 5K. Nothing has happened since. Never received any word from the court after the judgment was filed. Never received any paperwork....

I have a an 8 year old car with 150K miles. If a writ of execution has been entered against me for a judgment of $3100 (not related to the car), how does the debtor seize my car ( I do not have title, but will soon...). Can the sheriff just show up with the writ of execution and take my car?

Ok, digging deep now in the forms (nolo is good for some things, but not all)

I am listing judgements on schedule F and have included the courthouse on the matrix.

Where else do i put these on the filing forms?

I will not be able to save up enough money to hire or retain a lawyer by my Jan 31, 1011 court date. All I got was a letter saying the court day by the court house. Do I just show up? Can I find out if there is a time? What do I bring? What happens? Thank you for any answers!!

Received a summons on my door with FIA Card Services as plaintiff, the original creditor is Bank of America (not mentioned). I don't want a default judgment, nor allow for wage garnishment, etc.
