  • I think you'll be surprised after your bk's are completed. About 6 months after, I've received offers for 0% credit cards and good financing on vehicles. Once your bk is over and your credit score goes up again (and it will after discharge)..you will have good credit opportunities. Also, don't forget,...

I can understand your concern, but if you don't pay the correct amount without saying anything to your attorney, you risk your case being dismissed for not following your confirmed plan.

sophieanne posted a Visitor Message for Barbisi
Hi Barbsi..just writing a private note to make a comment. Do you read what you write before you post it? Your response to Switch about the Ollo credit card sounds a little sarcastic and rude. You don't know what his situation is or what he's gone through to get where he is. You sound angry towards...

  • A lot of people have many problems along the way..it's just Murphy's law. You took the BK step and I do understand how hard it can be (having gone through it)..but there has to be some way to find the positive in the process. Yes it's tough, yes it's miserable, but you can't honestly tell me that...

  • Yes - it happened in my case. We had one large creditor not file...and then we managed to save enough money to pay off the plan even sooner. We ended up completing our 5 year plan in 4 years. It took some tough budgeting but it happened. We were in a 100% payback plan.

  • I've read everthing that's been written in this post and I feel bad for the situation people are in. I think that 159515951 only offered an opinion based on experience (which is different for everyone ) and was not offering judgements or criticism. I also agree, it looks like you're looking for sympathy...

    Hi,
    Quick answers:
    1) Yes you would still qualify.
    2) Just follow your plan, contact your attorney if you have any wishes..but away you go. You are NOT supervised or required to submit reports, etc. during this time. You're just required to submit your plan payment (and tax returns,...

You're getting much closer @tm010. What you're doing is paving the way to a new debt-free life. It might be painful right now, but the end result is worth it. If you think about it, I i'm sure being in debt with no way out was more of a prison sentence. Good luck going forward.
