LOL that's funny! Light money on fire hahaha! I get it.
I saw the photos of the updated home now listed. It looks nice, clean, bright. But also? #NotMyProblem. Hell yeah. Got over $200,000, replaced our cars, got the dream job, in a much-better-for-us location. Yes there are some amenities we...

Oh also - We did finance a portion of the Corolla... we got an interest rate of 8.1% which isn't bad at all post-BK... what do you think? I thought it would be like 20% or something. Our Equifax score (which is what they showed us) is much higher than the Experian one....

Carmella - yep! It feels good to buy something small like that (candles etc.) and not sweat it....

Barbisi - you forgot to mention the strong scent-of-organic-decomposition from something, or somethings, that were rotting. That, mixed with the concerning odor of, what, transmission or brake fluid? That overly sweet saccharine smell. It almost didn't start that last time when I was about to leave...

That is good to know. Maybe we can take off the two extra wheels, save ourselves the tire expense too... ... ... ... ...

Dang Carmella ... that was close! I am on the lookout for shortcuts and minimal traffic paths; lots to learn here for sure!
So, the 2013 Sentras were the 'worst' for transmissions apparently. Your 2019 is 6 revisions newer, and 3 years old now, so you should be ok. With the extended warranty,...

Kind cool to see the entire door handle structure, internal and external, even though it is unintended, before I have to push it all back together so the door can open.
I suppose I could spend more money replacing the other axle, then if that doesnt work, maybe keep spending til the knocking...

RE: the transmission:
we replaced it 15 months ago; a loud knocking when turning at slow speed (0-20 mph) started occurring, and has persisted since. Took it to Nissan to review once we heard it, they said the transmission was fine. I took it to Pep Boys: they said, bad struts, which were replaced....

Yes, the CX-5 does look promising, and there appear to be several available, near us.
The 40K for the Subaru includes TTL - tax, title, and license.
Wait... Nissan... on the low end of reliability scale? You're kidding!! LOL!!! Just kidding; we agree with you shipo. Ok now I will step...

I did check the Mazda site as well; their prices do appear lower than Subaru's; my default questions are Why, and What's wrong with them LOL! I ask that since some other car lots in the area have less inventory:: ie if Mazda has more cars, why? That's me being pessimistic. We are not familiar with Mazda,...

I did a quick search on one website; 2010-2013 models, 50k-140k miles, can be purchased for around 10K. Yes, they are expensive.
I could replace my transmission again, 15 months after doing so already, for $4500. I could replace it again next year as well, for another $4500.
Though, I am...

Also:
once we received the home sale funds, we paid off the 401K loans. The payments have not yet cleared the bank account. But, this is an additional $700 or so per month we have recovered. So:
$700 recovered from 401k loan payments due to paying off 401k loans
$930 recovered from...

The one thing to remember: you don't have a foot-clutch so, don't mistake the brake for the clutch with your left foot... Screech!!
