    341 meeting today

So I had my 341 meeting today. Had a couple of hiccups.

First hiccup was when the trustee asked about child support, alimony and such. I said yes, he and my lawyer was about to stroke out. It was the way he asked, Are you paying child support? Well, yes, it is listed though. It took a few...

Vet2019, everything Ive read says Navy is BK friendly-ish. If you burned them, no credit until you pay them off. Pay them off you are re-opened to lending after 1 yr. Secured card immediately. Sometime i guess you have to throw their motto at them. As for the big red box of anger, you have to call their...

I filed on 18 Oct. I am just wondering so I can shut down USAA altogether. Navy Fed, is the only one I want to keep. I thought Navy Fed cross collaterilized or is that just for secured loans like for cars and homes and not credit cards? Figured that was a work around for being able to not violate an...

I am saying to cut it up since it will probably be closed by the creditor anyways as soon as they find out about the BK.

    Navy Federal

I am including Navy Federal in my bankruptcy. My 341 is 5 Dec. Only thing I am burning them on is a credit card. My checking/savings accounts are still open, just wondering when it would be safe from cross collateralization to start my direct deposits back into it? Should I wait until after my 341 or...

Just be honest about it if asked. Needed repairs are a needed expense. Odds are, they probably wont ask. Now if the full amount disappeared, thats one thing.

Might as well cut up the other card. Not gonna be able to save it. Unless its a prepaid debit card.

  • If they are correct, they stay on. A couple of mine were erased. Even with a BK note, the only thing I can think of is that their possible reasoning is that by removing anything positive (all mine were paid on time until I decided to file), lowering your accounts, and Account age will do more damage...

You left your bank as in you just pulled money out to have some on hand or closed the account and took a couple of days to open another one? If they ask, tell the truth. Cash is hard to follow. As for Christmas, my atty told me to go ahead. I would stay away from big items and cash for now and wait...

  • Not worried about it. It will become their property. I will come them once. If they dont grab by the deadline, storage fees will accrue. Then delivery charges. I will even post it was surrendered in a bankruptcy and list the current owner (the lender)....

  • I am surrendering my truck. Beyond upside down and the motor went. My plan, give them 30 days and tow it to the bank, drop the keys off inside if not open leave a note on the window and lock the keys inside the vehicle.

What I mean by protection is like with taxes, you cant discharge them if under 3 yrs old or my DFAS debt that had to be older than 5 yrs old. Both are 2012 or older. Since AAFES is government supported, didn't know if they had any type of protections against bankruptcy. Which if they did, I am sure...

Basically, what Im trying to figure out is do they have to immediately have to send a refund the minute they find out about the stay or do they have a window of something like 30 days, 60 or even 90 days or if even ever and requires a court order. I am sure the info is there, but like I said, I simply...

The debt is AAFES/military starcard. Which is considered unsecured and past the point of protection for them. So legally they do have to give it back. Im just wondering what, if any, the time frame is that they have to give it back. From what it appears, they took it a day or two before receiving notice...

My atty had me pull my experian when I supplied all my paperwork and he pulled his own as well. Not sure why though. But I am guessing the very most current one and from whichever one you want. I would wait on pulling them until you atty says otherwise. Using it for remembering bills, CR aren't 100%...

    Garnishment after filing

So I apparently missed a filing yr and had to file my taxes to file my bankruptcy. I had a refund coming back and it was intercepted before the creditor got updated on the automatic stay. All I have found was it had to be paid back immediately, but those where all by a general google search and nothing...
