Oh gosh, my heart goes out to you. Well, there's nothing you can do about the past - what's done is done - so I say relax as best as you can and don't wallow in the regret part.

    My opinion is:

    1. Get all of your financial information together and make several copies of it all....

    Anyone have issues with TFS?

Getting kind of frustrated with TFS. My attorney set up my payments and they are bimonthly. Each time except for the 1st one, several business days go past the scheduled date (weekdays!) and my payment just shows in the "upcoming transactions" section and not showing as processing. Then I...

New Notice on Pacer - not sure what it means

Nevermind - I have the answer, it is nothing. Wish there was a quick delete after posting with no replies!...

What I have found is that at least on mine, the date at the top only changes for major filings. Claims don't change that date at the top for me. I had a ton of claims between filing and 341, but the date of last filing still said my filing date. And I've had claims come in since my 341 but it still...

  • Thank you all for your responses. I'm glad that is the case. Wish I had some of those known not to file POCs. I'm not a 100% plan, but the fewer others that claim, the more that can go toward my student loans that are included. After all the reading here, I was surprised at the low claims that have...

  • Creditors selling off/transferring my debt to other companies

In the last week I have been getting notice after notice of creditors informing me that my account has been transferred to other companies, about 40 days or so after filing. The letters all give the amount of the debt, last 4 of account #, who the debt has been transferred to, and that I will no longer...

Thank you. Just glad I survived it. I mean, the truth hurts when it's bad decisions that got you there. It's the ones that had no choice, like crazy medical bills. I had a friend who has zero risk factors and in good health, and she turned up having pancreatic cancer. Even with good employer health...

  • Oh, that is terrible! I am so sorry to hear that and I'm hoping it all works out. I just wanted to log in and say --and this is just my opinion-- be careful about writing a bad review, especially for an attorney. I've seen so many horror stories where the business has gone after the reviewer and to...

    Another My 341 story

In a nutshell I thought it went very well. Since it’s been so long since filing and after reading all of the “it went fine” posts here, I really wasn’t too nervous.

Arrived 2 hours early since it is a long drive and with my luck, I’d get a flat tire or hit a deer. While waiting...

  • Order of Agreement - Where to find in Pacer case?

My attorney made a mistake on my petition that I did not catch, but the trustee did - brought up at my meeting of creditors. In one spot, the interest for my vehicle loan said "6.75%" and in another place, "675%". I'm pretty sure it was an Order of Agreement that the trustee told...
