I have just today missed my first credit card payment.

I am dreading something happening between now and when I file. I need to wait six months for some things to straighten out and also to save money for attorney.

I am walking away from my house and all the cards...

There have been so many questions about charge offs, etc, I just want to write a little bit.

First of all, anything that is included in bankruptcy MUST say that on the credit report. NO MATTER WHAT.

There should NEVER be a "charge off" or a balance showing....
