Looking into applying for Circuit City cc

...I understand that it is a Chase card. I had a Circuit City account that I paid off over a year before I filed bankruptcy (7). And then they closed the account. I had a regular Chase cc that I majorly blew and it, so it was in my bk.

I do understand that some of the cards can get you for your past debt when you reapply and are accepted?!

I had Chase, Capital One, I forget which Mastercard...that I settled with and paid like a fraction, a year before I eventually filed (would that be one I could get credit with...since I did settle? All my department store cards were, thank god, at -0-....I only have one card, Dillards, at the present. I would like to (SLOWLY) rebuild...got another nine years...what's the rush....I really just need one major credit card that works...but I thought maybe I need to show I'm worthy of that by using a circuit city card and showing a record of good repayment?? (Have two boys with nintendo fingers).

I'm going to check out the application right now...oh, did have BEST BUY but they were in the bk as well....

Its worth a shot. I'm not 100% sure if the circuit city card is actually 'bk friendly' or not. But they usually pull equifax in florida, which often does not show pr records like bk as consistently as exp & tu do. If your equifax report doesn't show the bk, that would definately improve your chances of getting the card.

I included a couple of my Chase acct. in my C7 and was approved for the CC store card with a $3000 limit.
