    New At Bankruptcy

Our bankruptcy will be filed in a couple of weeks. I have a couple of questions if one of you would be kind enough to shed some light on. How many meetings do we have to go to at court, and what all does the trustee request you provide? If you have one credit card that fights you, are all the debts but that one discharged? And does the trustee look at your credit card charges and question those? Even if they are 90 days old? If you have a lawyer, do they go to court with you and coax you thru the meetings? Thanks in advance for your answers. We are getting rather nervous about whats ahead...Hopeful

    Hi,

Ask your attorney let you listen to 341 meeting audo tape's/cd's, to get clearer idea of what occurs, and what kinds of questions the trustee may or may not ask. A lot of attorney's have tapes of 341 meetings to put thier clients at ease, and to let them get an idea of what to expect.

    Good Luck!

Wow, Todd, That's a great idea! I would never have thought of that. Thanks for the tip.

My lawyer gave me a list of the questions they were going to ask at the 341 meeting, just so I would be prepared. They are very simple, cut and dry questions.

If it's not too much trouble, would you mind posting them? That would be so helpful . . .
