    credit score in Chap 13

I've been in my Chapter 13 plan for 31 months. I just got a copy of my credit report yesterday. Americredit has been reporting late payments, most of then 120 day lates, EVERY month since I filed in April 2004. From what I've read in the forum, this is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and a violation of the automatic say. I called my lawyer and talked to his secretary and she said she will be sending a letter to them requesting them to fix this. Should I be sending a letter also? Do they have any right to report these payment as late when they've been getting paid through plan? I was told by a loan officer that fixing alone could raise my score 100 points. Also, if I decided to voluntarily dismiss my case and start paying my creditors on my own again, would that help or hurt my credit score?
