Question Regarding Judgements

Hi all,

I have been reading the posts in here for a while - but never felt the need to create an account or post until now.

I filed pro se, have been through the 341 meeting, and am now nearing the end of the time for objections. My question: I have three judgements included in my bankruptcy - do I need to be doing something extra to make sure these are discharged (and no longer open judgements?) They are listed in my filing - but something I read in one of the threads makes me wonder if I have missed the boat on something I need to file. I am in Virginia. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was represented by an attorney when I filed my 7 in May. I had one judgement filed by an apartment complex against me. I don't think my attorney did anything extra for that debt, I just listed it on my creditor matrix. It was discharged so I started cleaning up my reports to make sure everything reported IIB and when I disputed the judgement it was actually deleted from all 3 reports. So I guess the debt wasn't verified in 30 days.

For your situation, at this times is the most important times in you life. Spend a couple of hundred dollars and have an attorney look over your paperwork.
You will sleep better for the rest of you life.
