Should I contact trustee or not worry...

I filed for Chapter 7 last year and was discharged in February.
It has been a year now....the house sold months ago, the car was gone before that and yet my case is still not closed. Should I just not worry about it not being closed yet or since it has been a year and any money should have been dispersed a long time ago should I try calling or contacting the trustee and ask what is going on? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can contact the Trustee's office and find out why its not been closed.
Or your attorney, if you have one, should know....

I'd suggest you call the Clerk of the Court and nicely inquire about your closing. Some times a simple nudge from the Clerk of the Court is all it takes to get a BK case Closed.

But be sure to ask NICELY!!

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.
