We had a meeting with our attorney and the papers should be uploaded to the court by the end of the day. We have been considering this all summer. If it weren't for the business we own (an LLC), we could have filed a 7 - but this is much better.

Details: We are 2 months in arrears on our mortgage (2300 total) and we have about $110K in unsecured debt. Our payment (as of now) will be $470/month for 60 months. (Compared to the 3000/month we would be paying to the CC and getting absolutely nowhere). So, our payback percentage is very small.

Now, we sit back and wait. Fortunately, I am an excellent record keeper, so gathering the information was fairly easy. Hopefully, so will the rest of our case.
