non paystub affidavit

Lawyer called today and says she is mailing me out an affidavit to sign saying I have no job. Seems court wants my pay stubs but I dont work. Haven't worked since my first was born almost 8 years ago. Not worried but never saw anyone mention this before. Is this the norm?

Yes, it's normal...so don't worry about it. The believe the new law is pretty specific about what documents are required (i.e. tax returns, proof of pay, or lack thereof). Don't worry about it, just read over it...if you have any questions discuss them with your lawyer, then sign it.
