FL surrender of vehicle w/exemption

...I checked Pacer and found that at the end of Oct., the trustee has filed a Motion to compel me to turn over my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. With all the agitation I have had with this vehicle, I do not even know if I am unhappy about this.....

I never know when the damn thing is going to start or not and you know, I didn't change the oil for over a year so, if the trustee thinks someone else will enjoy the beast...fine.......

For anyone that's had to surrender a vehicle...how long does it take to get my $1K back....?

Where is the $1k figure coming from?

If you don't want it and the trustee does, let him have it. You don't care...if he avoids the lien, the debt becomes an unsecured debt in your BK and is discharged.

oh, there has been no mention made of my 2005 refund which the trustee has....I thought I get some of it back since I filed 10/5/05? Plus any portions that you get back due to child tax credit???help?
