How should mortgage be shown on CR

This is where I am at- 1 -120 day late in december of 05 on my first mortgage, (my mortgage co at the time would not take my payment untill my discharge was complete- chap 7)-(sent back all my checks) as soon as discharge was complete paid them up to date-December of 05-they reported me 120 days on my credit rep for december 05- I paid loan on time till april 06, then had oppertunity to sell home-

the second mortgage I had showed included in Br
my first mortgage says nothing about BR just 120 days late
They were both listed as secured assets on my BR to be reafirmed-I did not just made my payments

Now, I cant even come close to geting a mortgage loan after a year, even with decent credit score- Of course the mortgage co says they followed there guidelines for reporting- and will not change- even though I they returned 3 months worth of checks- Why wouldn it show included in Br Like my second- Thanks Bws

Have you tried disputing it with the CRA's?

You can send the CRA a copy of your bankruptcy schedules. Some people are of the the school of thought never to send the BK schedules to the CRA - because once they see them, you'll never have any hope of find a loophole to dispute the PR and get it removed - people do it all the time.

So, if you can live with that - I see no reason why you shouldn't dispute the inaccurate information to the CRA with a copy of your BK schedules to prove it was included in your BK and should be reported as such.

If you take this route, you need to request that the CRA's suppress the inaccurate reporting from this creditor in the future.

It's a glass mountain to climb - but from what I've read on other credit repairs forums - it can be done. But remember, once you send the CRA's your schedules, they will confirm you BK in their records and you won't ever be able to use a loophole to get that PR removed in the future.

    Good luck!
