We pay our mortgage outside of the plan payment, and the cars were included inside the payment. So yes, that is how it can be done, but I must tell you that our mortgage co objected to being paid outside of the plan because they showed us in arrears on our payments. To make the story short we finally convinced them after a year that we weren't behind with them and they dropped their objection. But be prepared just in case they object.( probably will not, but never can tell)

      Same here, too

My mortgage arrears are inside the plan, my regular payments are outside.

I also owed back property taxes when I filed -- the mortgage company paid them, so there is no claim from the county for taxes. But now the attorney says they will ask for taxes to be escrowed, so my payment will go up in February. My payment outside the plan, directly to the mortgage bank.

I am worried it will be too much -- but the lawyer says it will be ok, we've budgeted for it.

      But still a little scary!

Thanks for the response; my situation is exactly like the second reply. Just wanted to be sure.

Yes, it is normal that the regular mortgage payments are outside the plan.

          Good luck with the plan.
