I am filing ch.7 and when I honestly put all my expenses on Schedule J I end up with a negative balance. Does this look bad that I have more expenses even when my debt is erased than I can handle??

But actually, that is what you want to show, because you want to demonstrate that you have no disposable income to pay to creditors.
If its too negative, then the trustee will question how you are able to make ends meet. -

i think the more negative the better. but the trustee will question if you are single person making a certain amount with a high balance on recreation or clothing....Comment
