When are the new BK laws likely to begin?

I was just curious as to when the BK reform would probably begin to take effect? Does 6 months sound about right?

6 months from whenever the President signs it. So far, it has not been voted on by the House, but will likely be so when congress comes back from spring recess.

The new law could likely be in effect by October of this year.
