I received notice that my 314 meeting is 4/19. I converted from a Ch 13 to a Ch 7 on 3/21 (I had a child since filing on4/9/02 and with daycare and increased living expenses I could not make the plan payments any longer). My question is, what documents will the trustee probably request? I thought they would want an updated schedule I&J, but our new attoreny (not the one who originally filed our BK) stated that he doesn't believe they would need it and didn't send it to the courts when he filed the motion to convert. Actually the only thing he sent was the motion to convert, a statement of intentions, and a revised schedule adding new unsecured creditors. He stated taht all the conversions he's done are simple and normally nothing is questioned. When I look on Pacer, it lists that it is flaggged for CONVERTING. Should I be prepared and take documents to the 314 meeting even though the attorney has not stated I should bring anything?
The attorney also makes me a little nervous, because he stated that if the trustee wants more informaiton or wants something corrected that they will allow him to fix it. Is that true?
Does anyone know anyone who has sucessfully or unsucessfully converted? Any advice would be appreciated.
