    Am I judgment proof??

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Hello all!
I wont go into my story just now (long one) but today I received a letter from:
Richard J. Boudreau & Associates, LLc
    Attorneys At Law
    Salem, New Hampshire

Acording to them their client is:
    Tri- Cap Investment Partners, LLC.
    Original creditor is Citibank

My only income now is Social Security Disability do to me having cancer. I dont own a house or a car, no savings, I have nothing. There is nothing they can take from me if they sue me.
Should I send them a letter and tell them there is no propfit in pursuing my case, it woul be a waste of time for them. If they get a judgment they can't touch that money. Should I write or just ignore them.
    Thanks in advance.

You sound like you are judgement proof.

First off, if the law firm is in NH, they can't sue you in Colorado, unless they are licensed in CO, which is not likely.

These guys are more like a collection agency than a law firm. I don't think you need to waste your time...If you respond, all you do is prove to them that you are live body and then the real hassle begins.

Thanks for responding so quickly!! Do you know if the original creditor Citibank will try to sue me?? If they contact me, should I tell them about my disability and me been judgement proof. As much as I would like to pay off this debt, the cancer sneak up on me and I have been fighting it for the past 2 years. Life is not fair sometimes.

If the account is with Richard J. Boudreau & Associates, LLc, Citibank has charged it off and you won't hear from them. Honestly, for the time being, you should probably just ignore them. There really is no benefit to you contacting them, and they are not going to care.
