Before I knew I would need to file bk, I with drew about $40,000 from money markets, savings, etc.(over a period of several months). No, I have no receipts. Some I gave to my fiance to renovate his house for us (outside of the United States), alot I unfortunately gambled away. I used cc but not for gambling. I think I only used one convenience check last month to pay my car note.
I now have physical problems and lost my job, my fiance has disappeared and I have been unable to locate him or his family (mostly because I don't speak spanish and my only contact was through him. He is no longer here in the states.)I am unable to make all these payments without his help.
Someone said I needed to prove where this $$ went and had to wait 1 year to file because "they" will want to see bank statements and explainations. I will be in jail in 1 year with no job, shortly no place to live, and my car will soon be repossesed when I have to quit making payments. So far I am up to date, but can't hold out much longer. I will have to go on SS of about $1,000 per month.
Please, some input. I am at a total loss. I have no family to help me through this, I am very scared and I alread know I am sooooooo stupid to give this man $$.
