is education bills considered a red flag?

Nothing wrong with spending money on education.
Of course, student loans are very rarely discharged in bk.

Under bk reform, debts incurred for education are not supposed to be discharged.
However, it's up to the cc company to object. A lot will depend on the size of the debt and how long ago it was incurred to see if a creditor will go to the trouble of researching your account.
