We have 2 houses that we are unable to keep. Both of the finance companies have filed for relief of the automatic stay. It appears that they are letting them go to the sheriff's sale. Our attorney thought that the finance companies would just take over the houses and resell them, but they haven't. If they go to the Sheriff's sale after my discharge will they sell in my name or the finance companies name. ( t doesn't really matter, but we live in a very very small town and we would like to prepare ourselves for the shame in advance)
My wife and I had our meeting with a trustee yesterday. Everything seemed to go smooth. Our attorney says everything is going as planned. .... this is really horrible
