How fast before they come knocking at your door?

I've missed three monthly payments and last week I received a letter to foreclose from chase.

Today, 4/18/07; someone seemed to be at my buzzer trying to get in.

So is it possible in 3-4 month span, they send someone already?

do you think I am being sued already?

*********update****believe it or not, it was my security guard trying to leave me a message from CHASE! how insane is that, they call your security desk!!***********

    thanks,

It's called "Skip Tracing". When you don't answer your phone and talk to them, they hound you by calling anyone else they can. You family, your neighbors, and yes, even the Security Man.

They're not supposed to discuss anything with these other people. But don't be surprised if others tell you that Chase called them. The Chase rep will say they've been trying to get in touch with you regarding an urgent matter. Could your family, neighbors, whoever, please relay the message.

That depends on what your intentions are. If you are going to answer the phone and tell them you are going to pay them and then you actually do pay them, then yes answer the phone so the hassling stops. But the only way it will stop is to pay them, so if you don't intend to pay them there is really no reason to answer the phone.
