    BOA closed my account

    Hey everyone

I have that equifax thing where you get alerts on anyting to accounts that you have and i just received an alert, checked and it says on my BOA account (MBNA): "Account closed by credit grantor , Closed". is this normal? it's going to only be 2 months without paying, it's kind weird since they have not called me, although they were still sending blank checks (never used them)

More and more it feels there's no way back, that i will have to file

    Thanks

About a year before we filed,........... October, '05,............We were still current on everything,....... One CC closed our LOC. We could still continue to pay regular monthly payments. They didn't want all their money in one lump sum. They said our Debt to Limit ratio with all Creditors was way too high.

After that one closed our acct with them, several others reviewed our accts with them and lowered our Credit Limits. And then we got hit with the new, higher payments in December, '05. The hike nearly doubled the minimums we were paying each month.

I am just surprised that it hasn't been that long and already they closed the account, just wondering what their next step will be now.

MBNA (BOA) closed my account at about 2 months late. The others followed behind and closed the accounts at 3-4 months late.

Maybe now,.......... Maybe in another month or so,............ BoA will probably move your acct to "Internal Collections" and then the phone calls start. For us, BoA was THE WORST!!

A dozen phone calls, at least, all hours of the day M-F. Sat and Sun even more.

Sat and Sun, 8 am,.......... "This is your wake up call." Phone ringing. Courtesy of BoA.

That went on for a month, 6 weeks. Then the phone calls stopped. Later we learned BoA started pulling our Credit. Weekly. Looking at who all we owed what to and if we were paying anyone.

Thanks guys, it's great to know about your experiences so i know what to expect for. I rarely use the phone and it's turned off all the time anyway, so problem there if they keep calling me

            Thanks again

              Boa

They sent me a letter today, two months past due that if I dont pay by $1,000 Friday that they would pull my report and make me unable to get a mortgage and car loans cuz my credit will be ruined. I'm two months past due BTW.
Yeah, like I could get any big line of credit/car loan anyhow. Anyhow, they closed my account at TWO WEEKS past due!!!!!! The calls started one week late. They seem to be VERY aggressive on collections for those with a huge debtload to them like myself I think. I get called five times a day.
Since I can barely buy food this week, they wont be seeing that grand!!
