Hi, I filed chapter 13 on march 6 2007. I am new to this site and wanted to relate my experience to date. I have to date made two payments to the trustee. I had my 341 meeting and confirmation hearing the same day. The whole process has been as good as it can be under the circumstance. The attorney that I hired only does bankruptcy and nothing else. The fees that I paid upfront were 500 and the rest is included in my plan payments over 60 months. At my 341 meeting the trustee did not have any concerns, My attorney has an excellent working relationship with the trustee and said there would be no problems. At this point we will continue to make our plan payments, what a burden that has been lifted off my shoulders that all the legal stuff is over.

My advice to all is to hire an Experienced Attorney that does nothing but bankruptcy as he and his staff have been excellent and money well spent.

Mine only does BK . I called another attorney who actually only did 7's after reviewing my case he gave me my attorneys name and told me he was the best in the area.

Turns out my attorney litterally wrote the book ( OK a book ) on bankruptcy which one some awards.


It's to early to say everything will go well ( My confirmation meeting is in a week ) but so far so good.
