hi, i've sent out a letter asking ca to validate the debt to their po box address via certified mail. now i'm thinking maybe i should have tried to find out their physical address to send my letter (the ca gave out only their po box address.) am i going to be able to verifiy they have received my validating letter at po box address? do collection agencies intentionally give out po box so that they can deny receceiving validation letter within 30 days? i'm afraid because my letter was sent to po box, no one will be able to sign the mail. i'll appreciate your advice.

Generally, the Post Office will leave the PO Box "owner" a note that there's additional mail that must be signed for. Then the person will have to go to the counter with the note to pick up the "Signature Required" mail. And they'll have to sign for it then.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
