    Credit Union wants car NOW!!!

We had our 341 meeting on March 9th and everything went well. No stress at all. Our trustee was very pleasant and was even quite comical. :p We are voluntarally giving back one of our cars to our credit union and was waiting on the paperwork to sign off on. They called today and asked us when can we bring in the vehicle. They said they talked to our att. and he informed them that they could contact us. We have not heard from our att. and when we called the office he had not been in all day. Should we wait to here from our att. or just go ahead and take them the car. I thought that we need to receive our discharge papers before anything can be returned/givin back to creditors? Please let me know soon.
    Thanks

If waiting for you attorney makes you feel better, go ahead........but as long as the vehicle was listed in your BK petition, go ahead and let them have it back.

    Good Luck!

I was under the impression that they are not to touch the automobile until AFTER discharge.

My creditor has been investigated for harassing me for surrendering my car.

Give it back, but let them know that by contacting you, they are breaking the law!

LET THEM COME GET THE CAR. DO NOT make it any easier on them than it already is.
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!
