Regarding 6 months income and Self Employment

So I lost one of my top clients last week, which will further sink my income. I plan on closing my business down in the next few weeks. My income is basically going to be half of what it has been in the previous 6 months. Do I have to wait 6 months to file because of my higher income in the beginning of the year? or will the court take into account that my business closed and my income will not be the same?

It is a 6 month average ending the day you file. If your income will substansially drop, you may be better off waiting out the 6 months.
