    Car Loan

I am less than two months out of discharge. We have two vehicles. We paid one (my minivan) off this month. DH has decided he wants to get me a car that would be cheaper on gas to drive to work ( I currently spend $100.00 a week on GAS for the minivan).

SOOO we are keeping the minivan (which is paid for), and trading in his truck for a small car. We will try to keep the payment about the same, so we really will be saving money!!!!!!

I applied for a capital one blank check car loan this morning, and was approved for 72 months at 9.49%.

Do you think this is a good rate?

I don't think the rate is too bad for being BK. My suggestion is to pay a little extra every month to pay it down quicker and in a year you may be able to refinance it at a better rate once your credit history improves.

not a bad rate.. you may be able to beat it though.. contact www.mycccu.com (Christian Community Credit Union). I had a 10.95% loan with Cap1 Auto and refied it last week with this CU and got 6.75% for 60m
      Thanks,
