Need Help - Lots of Questions

    #2
Just because objection to discharge is 07-25 does not mean it will be discharged that dy it is usually a few days to a few weeks after some times it is discharged and closed in the same day but just beause it is discharged does not mean closed after discharge if you did not reaffirm and dont make pmts they will want it back right away and some lenders will finance a day out but they want a down pmt ford probally will not finance that score you need a 620 or more most likely but I am sure you can get financed but with a down pmt. To correct the credit reports you will have to notify the credit bureaus of the debt and that it was discharged in bankruptcy chapter 7 the collection agency will sometimes fix it but dont rely on that
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

You have a whole lot of questions going on in your post but I will see if I can answer a few.

Not exatcly sure why your lawyer would say you may not get discharged because of a paperwork issue and Pacer says something else, perhaps your lawyer may be referring to the vehicle debt getting discharged since you did not reaffirm. You really should contact your lawyer and ask them exactly what they are talking about.

Your date of objections is scheduled on Pacer for July 25th. You should (and most always everyone) is discharged of their debts....after that day. It may take a few days to show up on Pacer and a few days to receive the discharge paperwork from the courts and your attorney. A non-asset chapter 7 case can either close the same day it is discharged or it could be anytime after (depending on how your district runs things, and how backlogged they are). In chapter 7 cases where assets are concerned, it generally takes up to a year to close. There really is no reason you shouldn't be discharged on that day unless something major has gone on with your case, if that happened usually you would be notified by the trustee or court.

The vehicle...don't be mistaken in thinking they can't take the vehicle while you are in bk...they can. All they have to do is file a motion to lift stay with the court since you will be surrendering the vehicle. You will need to contact the creditor and discuss how they want to handle the surrender, i.e. they pick it up or you bring it in.

You can get a vehicle loan the day after you get your discharge (have a printed copy with you). Be forwarned .... you will be paying some major interest with those scores and may not get to be picky and nitpick and choose what vehicle you want. It's a take what you can afford and get financing for world out there. Ford will probably not be your best bet, but stranger things have happened.

The credit reports, you should contact the CRA's and dispute the ch. 13 and have it reported as a ch. 7 showing discharge (after your discharge). As far as the charge offs go, if the debt was charged off BEFORE bankruptcy is will still report as a charge off but should also be reporting a zero balance and included in bankruptcy. If the debt was not charged off before the BK it should only be reporting as IIB, zero balance. Regardless, all discharged debts should show zero balance IIB.
