The Old Cat and Mouse Game

I e-mailed my letter to my attorney on Sunday advising of the inheritance money that I received. I know that this is a long shot but also e-mail him a letter addressed to the trustee explaining about DH needing 2 knee replacements and hoping for a little mercy. I have not heard nothing from my attorney, not even a response that he received my e-mails. Why does everything have to be a game with these lawyers? We all know what the outcome is going to be so be done with it, but noooo, everyone has to play little mind games with you before the ax falls!!!! I have assumed the position, now just get the pain over with.

    Possible many reasons:

    1) they are swamped with many cases over their heads, no priority on any cases important

    2) they don't care what, who, why, etc. (seeing same things daily over 30 long years?)... trying to finish 8-5 job and go home like everyone else!??..

    3) laywers only see $$, trustee only see ##, and clerks only see letter/papers to stamp/mail, etc.

    4) postmen don't care our mail lost on holidays, snow days, etc.
