Recently Married/One spouse needs to file chpt.7

I have a couple of questions concerning risks and filing chapter 7 or 13 after recently being married. I was married back on the 22nd of April. I am considering filing a Chapter 7. First of all, my spouse and I do not have any shared accounts of any kind (bank, credit, etc.) My questions are as follows:
1). Will I have to disclose his personal information (name, soc. sec., bank account info, etc) if I personally file?
2). Will his personal property that he owned before we were married have to be considered as part of my filing when I list my belongings..of which I don't own anything, I rent and most of my stuff was given to me to be used by relatives until I bought my own?
3). Lastly, I have read through some of the forums and I have come across items about judgements. I know I have some against me. I plan on hiring an attorney. Will he automatically file for motions to have these debts settled, or is this something that I have to bring to light and make sure of myself?

Those are questions you will need to ask a local bk attorney.

However, with such a recent marriage, it probably won't be an issue, because even in a community property state, not many of the assets have had time to become "community" assets. Your BK would have been cleaner if you filed before you got married, but you can file seperately.

yes, we have discussed it. He was actually the one who suggested this to me. I never considered bk before and the consideration didn't even enter our minds until afterwards when I received my free annual credit reports and found all the "junk" on there. I have a lot of medical and nsf's from a previous relationship that fell back onto me and with current situations I am just not able to wipe this stuff out myself. I wish I would have done a bk before, at least I would have a "clean" record now.
