i filed chapter 13 mi in march 02 receive my stop payment letter July/3/07. The letter also said it takes up to 6 months to receive discharge. I have been reading this forum for along time and have never seen a case. were you had to wait that long for a discharge. Maybe this is just in mi.

It's not unheard of to have to wait several months to receive a discharge in a chapter 13. I would not lose any sleep over it.
