    Money in savings account

    State: FL

Ok...i'm filing chapter 13 this week. I have about $2200 in saving, which I plan to pay the attorney with. Also, I am not paying my credit cards this month and anything else that I am surrendering. So essentially, just paying rent and car. So, at the end of this month I will have accumulated about $1500 more. Will the trustee take all this money from me??? Or will they allow me to keep it in savings??

    Thanks,
    Phil

    Florida's exemptions suck!!!

100$ of wages for heads of family up to $500 per week either unpaid or paid and deposited into bank account for up to 6 months

Since you're filing CHAPTER 13, your concern is a non-issue. The trustee does not TAKE assets in a chapter 13, the trustee only takes disposable income. If you have non-exempt assets, all you need to account for is that your payment plan (over the life of the plan), must provide your unsecured creditors with at least that amount.
